I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. Tonight I write from the warm waters of the Bahamas. Melissa and Jonathan's rehearsal dinner tonight at the One and Only Ocean Club was fun, emotional and laid-back - and set in one of the most beautiful locations I've ever photographed. Here is one frame from the night. Lots more to come soon.

Tina and Mike have been together for over nine years, and will be getting married next Spring in Southern California. I won't be able to be there with them, but my good friend Brett Butterstein will, so I know their wedding photos will be incredible. We spent a really fun afternoon earlier this week exploring the University of California Berkeley campus before jumping into the city for a few night shots. They are a great couple. You will have fun with these guys Brett!

For all you photographers out there who read PDN magazine, there is an article on destination weddings in the wedding guide this month. I helped out with the story and they also used a few of my photos, including the cover shot from Carrie and Bobby's wedding earlier this year in Mexico.

I think Diana and Zaldy got home from their honeymoon in Hawaii yesterday. They deserved a relaxing vacation after their marathon 14-hour, 500-person wedding a couple weeks ago. Despite the day being a long one, it was incredibly fun and went by so quickly with lots to photograph, including a Chinese tea ceremony and portraits with their 16-person bridal party in several places around Sacramento. Thanks to Sasha for helping all day and for covering me when the seat of my pants split in two places during the ceremony. No joke. It was a wild day, which is always the best kind for me.
