Tina and Mike have been together for over nine years, and will be getting married next Spring in Southern California. I won't be able to be there with them, but my good friend Brett Butterstein will, so I know their wedding photos will be incredible. We spent a really fun afternoon earlier this week exploring the University of California Berkeley campus before jumping into the city for a few night shots. They are a great couple. You will have fun with these guys Brett!

I think Diana and Zaldy got home from their honeymoon in Hawaii yesterday. They deserved a relaxing vacation after their marathon 14-hour, 500-person wedding a couple weeks ago. Despite the day being a long one, it was incredibly fun and went by so quickly with lots to photograph, including a Chinese tea ceremony and portraits with their 16-person bridal party in several places around Sacramento. Thanks to Sasha for helping all day and for covering me when the seat of my pants split in two places during the ceremony. No joke. It was a wild day, which is always the best kind for me.

I'll be heading over to London in March to be a part of Ross Tanner and David Pullum's Floshops with two great photography studios, Jason Groupp and DQ Studios. I've said before that certain great weddings 'had it all.' Well, Constance and Michael's wedding had it all, and a little bit more. From an impromptu limbo contest with a crutch to Constance's cousins taking over the band's equipment for a beat-box jam session, there was plenty to photograph all weekend in the chilly and beautiful high desert of New Mexico. Heidi held all the wedding plans together perfectly, and Constance and Michael showed such a strong connection that every photo of them seemed to glow with happiness.

Lori and Bong really wanted a small wedding, and since many of their family members live outside of San Francisco (where they live), they decided they could have their wedding anywhere. They chose the beautiful and newly opened Mandarin Oriental resort just north of Playa del Carmen. The entire weekend was just a great time with absolutely no stress. Just close family and friends, warm water to swim in and great food. I love Mexico weddings.

Lisa and Dan met while Dan was trick-or-treating with his nieces and nephews a few years ago, so it was very fitting their wedding was on Halloween weekend. Lisa is a food photographer, so it was fun talking cameras with her while she was getting her hair and makeup done. In addition to being a photographer, Lisa is also a professional chef, so the reception - with a multicourse, gourmet dinner - was all about the food, with a little dancing at the end to cap off the night.

Both Kristin and Elliott's families are very politically minded, so talk of Election Day (which was right around the corner) buzzed throughout their wedding weekend. But by far the most talked about subject was how perfect Kristin and Elliott are for each other. The energy all day was so bright and fun, it made for a wedding that went so smoothly you didn't realize it when the end of the night came. And when it did, there were fantastic cigars from Spain to celebrate with.

I really like Greek ceremonies. The churches are always very ornate and beautiful, and the ceremonies usually last a long time, which gives me plenty of opportunity to roam around and look for different angles. And Carrie and Michael's wedding was luckily timed so that the afternoon sunlight was streaming across everyone in the room. Like the church, Carrie glowed the entire day and the reception at the Terra gallery was equally as impressive with hundreds of glowing candles lighting the tables.

My friends Tamra and Chris, whose wedding I photographed last year in Cabo, came into San Francisco this weekend to visit and see their friend DJ Sasha perform at Ruby Skye. Since I am usually traveling on the weekends for weddings, I don't go to many clubs anymore, but I didn't want to pass this one up because hanging out with Tamra and Chris is always a good time. We got to watch the show from the stage, and it was cool to see everyone go nuts for Sasha when he came on. Sasha lives in New York but was in California for shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Here are a few frames from the night.

Dawn and Greg's ceremony was not only a wedding, but also a celebration of their family. Their son Greg II was such a big part of the wedding that almost all of my photos included the little guy, from changing his diapers to him smearing wedding cake all over his face. I loved it. The entire day felt like a real documentary story, with so much going on all the time in addition to all the traditional wedding activities that happen at every wedding. I have to give a lot of credit to Dawn for being both a mother and a bride on such an important day. She showed me what multitasking is really about.

Victoria and Jay first met in kindergarten, but it wasn't until college that they met up again and started dating. They got married at the beautiful Wainwright House just north of New York City. Everything went great all day, and the toasts were particularly touching because Jay's family described how he decided to become a NYC firefighter after witnessing the morning of September 11th just one building away from the World Trade Center.
